Saw this today and i’m so excited about this. I don’t any Fraulein Revoltechs and i wanted to get one so i could at least judge it’s quality for myself. And for it to be Yoko is just awesome!

Now my first thing is i’m amazed at this person for saying that she looks fat here.

And wow, Fraulein Yoko looks like a pig….really chubby if you ask me, kinda disappointing to me. =(

Yoko looks damn awesome and not at all pig like… I’m just glad that this version looks a lot better than the Konami version. The Konami version looks kinda bad to me but i actually might end up getting it anyways since i’m a huge GL fan >_<

Well there is still no official release date of Yoko but you know i’ll be hovering Kid Nemo for my pre-order of her!

Well in case no one noticed my site has been down everyonce in a while this past weekend. My bother who hosts my site for free, (thanks onii-chan!) was moving it over from the one server to the other and then he updated me to wordpress 2.6. OMG it messed up all my design and my widgets, plus i wasn’t able to log back into my account! So after hours of him trying to fix it for me he just downgraded me back to wordpress 2.5 and now everything is back to normal. But then this morning i noticed that i had no views all night but i was able to see my site so just though i lost all my readers for the night or something. Until i checked my site again and noticed that i wasn’t able to log into it at my boyfriend’s house so i realized that something was wrong with my site. So i just called my brother and he fixed it up for me! He’s the besterest!

Also i’m going for a small vacation this tuesday! I’m going to Merida, Yucatan which is in Mexico. I’ll be there until the 31st but i will hopefully by making updates from there, depending on it i can get my hands on some interbutts. I should be able to since we are staying in a super nice hotel and they should have internet access, if not i’ll have to find an internet cafe.

I had my heart set on getting this figure when she was first announced but now it looks like I’m going to be staying far far away. I think i was a bit tricked to be honest with you, when she was first announced it was set to be made by Jun Planning but then Taki corporation took over. While I’m assuming it’s the same company like Good smile and Max Factory are, the only Jun Planning figure i have is amazing so i just assumed it would be just as awesome. But once deftoned told me he got his, i kept asking him to make a review on this figure. I was sadly disappointed in her quality. You can see Deftoned’s review at Tea Shop Beloved. And yes i did cancel this order upon reading his review. Sadly I’ve been super broke ever since Anime Expo, gas is so expensive and I’ve been driving on fumes for a while now. plus with taking the days off work for Anime Expo and now the days for this upcoming trip to Merida I’m not going to be able to afford Hinagiku any longer. Also i guess i should have realized this figure would have been terrible since Taki Corporation is also the same people who make these terrible figures.

While nothing to do with this post, i’m re-watching Card Captor Sakura again for the millionth time ^_^

Got super bored today and spent some time pulling out every figure, cleaning them and then rearranging them in new places, plus worst off all I discovered a leaning figure. I felt like taking down my figures and cleaning them, iI do this from time to time when bored but I never rearrange them. I always leave them where they were before but lately they’ve been piling up since Anime Expo and some just didn’t have any place to go. Well first off I took them down and started cleaning them.

Found some things I didn’t like, a few leaners that need to be fixed, my Alter Meg figure had something that looks like glue all over her face which took me forever to clean off. After I got them all down I then reorganized them instead of randomly like they were before they are now organized by maker.

Bottom shelf I put my Max Factory and Good Smile Company figures. These are honestly my favorite figures since those two are my favorite figure companies. I also added my Konami Haruhi Figumates in there as well so they could be with their bigger counterparts. Also my Kotori is starting to lean.

Next shelf i put my Alter and Kotobukiya figures. I’m lucky that Shii isn’t leaning anymore, she used to be leaning but i fixed her up. Looks like many people have had problems with this particular figure and leaning. But her sword does like to fall out of her hand the moment you even breath next to her.

Third shelf is Sega, some Kaiyodo and random gashapons. Every single Eva figure i own is from Sega, but hey they were cheap and decent quality. Also my prized sega CCS figures, I searched high and low for Sakura! I had seen Tomoyo in a local anime store and when i made sure she was real online later before i bought her i found they made a Sakura as well! So i went on a one woman search for her, I finally found her online and bought her! Then i went back to the anime store and got Tomoyo to complete the set. Oh GSC/MF i wish you would make CCS figures!

Top Shelf are some figures that i like but kinda don’t really need them to be center stage anymore. I’m just glad i was able to find a place for my Fewture Models Chi. She’s so big that she just takes up so much space. but i was able to fit her in, and i was also able to fit another figure in between her hair, I’m crafty like that. ^_^ And i totally didn’t mean for it to go from tallest to shortest, it just came out that way.

Now much more space for future figures on my bookshelf. Love me the Aria Sachou, So damn cute!

Plenty of space for the plenty of figures that are coming during September - November. Don’t the Yoko’s looks awesome standing together? I’m going to have a whole Yoko shelf after all my orders go through!

While this Shelf is used for my “Favorite” figures at the moment, I’ve got too many favorites so i just moved over Makoto since she’s older to Shana. Well tech. Shana is older but I’ve had Makoto for longer than Shana so I’m giving the spot to Shana so she can shine for a bit. But now i just Keep my favorites close to me in general. Some on my desk, some on the bookcase nearby.

Finally my poor leaning Saber, I would have sold her off by now but since she was leaning so badly she fell off her stand when i first got her and broke her base. So now she’s glued to the base and i can’t sell her like that. At least i don’t know anyone who would pay for a broken figure?

The Yoko art book so was awesome that i had to get myself the nia art book as well. I love the art in this book, it’s very cute and tasteful since Nia isn’t as provocative as Yoko is. Still there are some sexy poses of Nia but it’s all done very awesome imo.

Last page is some offical and non official Nia merchandise. I would love to some tech Dakimaruka of Nia but those are expensive. Plus i’ve yet to see a PVC of Nia that i like.

Also at the end of the book is a small envelope with pictures from the book. I still have no diea what they are for and the Yoko book came with them as well. If anyone has an idea of what they are for let me know.

I got a package today! Can you guess what it is? If you can’t even guess from the title of this post i feel bad for you…

I’ve been wanting this figure for sooo long now! Being the Uber Diehard Gurren Lagann fan i had to own her!

The detail is awesome!~ But i don’t really like the shiny hair all that much but the rest of her is awesome.

She looks so much better than the Konami version thats for sure.

Another thing is that she sure is heavy and only time will tell but so far it looks like she’ll be a leaner, the pvc in her legs doesn’t seem very strong and she seems like she’s really heavy. But the the weight seems to be displaced well so as i said only time will tell if she’ll lean or not. A full review will be coming soon!

I caught lelouch sitting around today bored and wondering what to do, so i grabbed my camera and offered to take his picture outside today, he had other plans…

He kept glancing back at Shana, something about her red hair he mentioned. Next thing i know he’s walking up to where shana is and sneaks up behind her. Then he does the unthinkable and takes a peek under her skirt!

I kept telling him how he was going to get in trouble, and that Shana had a big sword and she wasn’t afraid to use it. But he just didn’t want to listen to me.

He was having too much fun looking under Shana’s skirt, he kept telling me to take a peek as well. I didn’t want to but he told me he’d give me $20 if i did… She must have finally noticed we were there once i took the picture.

She was so mad but he tried to give excuses, he even said he was worried a bug went under her skirt and that he had to check! I couldn’t help but laugh and she knew he was lying. I told Lelouch to just appologizze but he wouldn’t listen to me, he said that she needed to learn her lesson. That’s when i got scared.

He pulled a gun on her! I was in shock! I was so scared for Shana but then i realized that she wasn’t even phased by his gun, she knew she could kick his ass!

But then Lelouch used his geass on her and she quickly forgot what happened and went back to guarding the room. I told lelouch that that was far enough and that he needed to stop, but then he threatened to use his geass on me. so i just went along with him. Next thing i know he’s talking to Fauna!

Now sadly Fauna isn’t’ the brightest girl in the room… She’s easily conned by Lelouch. He tells her that he’s a doctor and he needs to to an “Examination.” I think I was more shocked that she went along with it than i was at him!

Can you believe this! He was just fondling her! And what does she do? She giggles throughout the entire thing thinking he’s tickling her!

There are no words to describe this. I was just in shock!

But once he went behind her and tried to take her panties off i told him it was enough! I wasn’t going to let him sit around and molest my PVC ladies! Well after a long lecture about not conning people and telling him that he cant’ touch the girls anymore he said well at least he can still touch himself and then did this!

I didn’t get to spend as much as i wished i could have at Ax this year, i eneded up being pretty broke.

But i still had a decent amount to spend and spent it wisely this year! Normally i do too many impulse buys but this year i went through an entire list of figures i wanted and i figures i was going to look for plus their average retail price.

Majority for my figures purchases were Good Smile Company/ Max Factory Figures. Ok Well they are all GSC/Mf figures.

Got the GSC 1/8 Arin since she was not only a figure i was looking for but also since she was super cheap. Found at this one booth selling figures for cheap since their boxes were damaged. i get her for $20 which is an absolute steal! Then found the GSC 1/8 Melissa Seraphy for $40 when everyone else wanted her for $80. I’ve been eyeing her for some time and found only one online store that had her for $80. So i was pretty lucky to find her for such a great price. I got the Max Factory Shana from the Kid Nemo Booth, my first purchase from AX. I’ve been looking for her for a while now and i was happy to find her! I’ve been wanting this Shana figure for so long now! Also got the GSC Shuraki #1 Akatsuki Mishiro for regular retail price of $40! Everyone else wanted her for $85-$90! I have a eye for good deals!

Got three model kits since the boyfriend has been bugging me to start making some. He’s an avid Gundam builder so he keeps telling me how fun it is to build them so i splurged and got the Bandai 1/35 Lancelot and two Kotobukiya Gurren Lagann Kits. I built them the moment i got home and i love them! Now i want to build more and paint them as well!

Found an Aria Sachou Bank and had to get that as well! Plus i got my first figma! I have to say I’m amazed at the quality and the poseablitly. I’m not an action figure kinda gal but i can see why so many people like them. I don’t know if I’ll be getting more, it all depends on if i like the character enough. Nay pose i put Lelouch in looks so natural and unlike my Revoltechs it’s much easier to move around and replace hands and faces.

Went to the kinokuniya booth and got the Nia art book and the Ground work fo Gurren Lagann book as well! My friend Bridget gave me Nana 11 since she went to a booth that had a buy 4 get one free and she didn’t know what else to get. I’ll go reviews of the GL books later.

Got a Shugo chara Phone dangly of ran.

And another of Aria Sachou. They had more Aria stuff at that booth but at $16 a pop for each phone dangly i only got one. In the end this is the only item i felt that i overpaid but i love it too much to honestly care.

This was my boyfriend’s Birthday present since his birthday is in July 4th during AX. He’d been eyeing this gundam for who knows how long so he was pretty excited to finally get it.

At the end of the convention at the one staff party (that i snuck into ^_~) they were giving out free shirts from past Anime Expos to staff. I snuck in and got a grand total of 18 shirts! But i gave some to my family and friends and this pile here are my shirts.

I felt like i got a good haul, better than last year since last year i bought too many figures that i regretted getting later. I hope that next year i’ll have more money to spend, at least for next year i hope to be going as press so then i won’t have to pay for my AX ticket.

Not much to say about this concert other than AMAZIING. I loved this concert so much!

It was so awesome and the costume changes were so great! I honestly didn’t expect costume changes! But out of all the outfits this was my favorite!

What was interesting was how great Shokotan looked with a cosplay she just through on compared to all the other Yoko cosplayers out there. This concert was amazing and she’s made a fan outta me for sure! I also got a CD and a Shirt signed by her from the autograph session.

I would have posted this up earlier but my free internet went down on Saturday and I’ve been super busy adjusting back to “real life.” I’m going through Con withdrawals, i miss AX already, i miss spending time with my friends and having a social life. Its’ weird going from spending the night with 6 other people in one room to sleeping by myself, it’s almost lonely.

Well on Friday night we went to a dance and we partied like crazy. Hence the first picture. Btw best way to get people to overcharge you in the exibit hall is wear a shirt from another booth. I went to a booth to ask a price for a pillow and they told me “$35 but for you $45, since you are with Kid Nemo.” I had to try my best to convince them that i don’t’ work for Kid Nemo that i just buy tons of stuff from them. But i didn’t buy anything from that booth anyways since i was broke by then.

Also on Friday night we went to Karaoke. I would have sang more but it was getting late plus my mind was running a blank while looking through the song list. And the one song i wanted to sing was chosen by a different girl and i didn’t want to sing the same song. So i went with “I’ll Make a Man outta You” from Mulan.

On Saturday morning i met up again with the girl from friday who cosplayed as Amulet Angel but this time she went as Tadase.

Found the other girl from aother girl from friday and we did more Shugo Chara pictures.

Saw this adorable little girl as Sakura, loved her pose and reaction when i asked for a photo, she was so excited that i asked. and then a crowed formed and she just was so happy.

After much searching i found Aria cosplayers! I was talking with the girl who cosplayed Alicia about how there isn’t enough love for Aria at Ax this Year.

My friend sarah cosplaying as Edea from FFVIII, she did an awesome job but i felt bad since she had the entire fan built but it broke on the shuttle on the way to the convention.

Then on Friday we went to another dance, but it was terrible, the music was bad and the people were worse. We left and then played Twister with some random people in the one hall.

The girl started adding her own weird rules and made us all put our head on the board as well.

I started getting light headed but i kept going since i wanted to win!

In the end the girl wanted us to have our head on the mat and hands in the air! WE couldn’t keep our balance but my friend finally fell over and i won! I only got a jolly rancher as a prize and it never tasted to good!

Last thing we did for that night was chase around the guy in the tetris block, since he couldn’t see around him he didn’t know we were following him. If he turned around we’d turn around behind him as well so he had no clue for the longest time, I was so much fun!
